It’s Halloween at last such a fun holiday. ^^

But it wasn’t all ways for fun as it is today. Long time ago it was stickily worshiping or praying for love ones that have past on. Still in other parts of the world Halloween is All Hallows Day or Day of the dead; where people in some cultures even eat with the dead. Halloween also started most of the superstitions like breaking a mirror or the black cat. But now a days Halloween is a night where little children dress up in costumes and goes around the neighborhood. They go to door after door and ask TRICK OR TREAT

Last week I forgot to post, and I made a poem for all the rain we had last week. It is called Song of the Rain.

Song of the Rain

rain oh rain
pouring down
sing softly among us
singing us to sleep
rain oh rain
pouring down
prove yourself better
than any sandman
rain oh rain
pouring down
put us to sleep
wash-away tears
and sooth our hearts
rain oh rain
pouring down
sing us to sleep
while you help
nature grow
rain oh rain

bringing a piece of Earth
to a sleepy peace

I’ve been having a headache or my art class so I decided to write what we’re doing in there.

Blue Heron

I saw a blue heron on Tuesday and again today, it was by the bookstore. I was in such ah to see this rare sight. I never thought such beautiful wildlife coud be near the college. Other wildlife I saw this week besides the heron was tons of butterflies, a river rat, and a chipmunk. I’m wondering what other wildlife I’ll in the near future.
